Now Trending
Project Manager · 2023 - 2025
Amazon’s Now Trending landing page needed to consistently showcase high-performing products in a fast-moving retail environment while keeping up with customer trends across desktop and mobile. I lead a cross-functional team of content creators, a subject-matter-expert, and fashion specialists to curate and optimize trending products for Amazon shoppers. I partnered closely with Data Scientists and Program Managers to analyze customer behaviors while enhancing machine-learning (ML) and retrieval-augmented-generation (RAG) models to identify emerging trends and prioritize product selection for maximum engagement. By combining data insights with creative curation, I ensured the landing page consistently highlighted relevant, high-performing products.
Highlights:
-
Increased click-through rates by 22% through data-informed, trend-driven curation.
-
Boosted conversion of featured items by 15% by prioritizing products aligned with emerging customer trends.
-
Maintained 100% consistency and high-quality standards across desktop and mobile, while building team capability for independent quality management and ongoing visual training.

During my time at Amazon as a Team Manager, I took on a stretch project as Connections & Actions Team Lead, leading a team of six CAT Representatives across my org, to analyze employee satisfaction data and transform insights into actionable initiatives. Employee engagement and satisfaction scores required improvement, but feedback collection and follow-up lacked consistency and visibility. I restructured recurring meetings to include broader team participation, created standardized feedback loops, and implemented a centralized internal wiki to log actions and track outcomes for org-wide transparency and accountability.
Highlights:
-
Increased quarterly employee satisfaction scores by 12% through consistent engagement and follow-up.
-
Expanded participation in feedback loops to all team members, ensuring diverse voices influenced decision-making.
-
Established a repeatable framework for tracking and reporting actions, improving transparency and accountability across teams.

Ramp Up Framework
Team Manager @Amazon

As a Manager, I identified a missing resource and proactively created a structured "Ramp-Up" Framework to standardize onboarding for my employees returning from leave or starting new projects. Re-onboarding practices were inconsistent and led to unclear performance expectations, uneven productivity, and increased manager intervention time. So, I developed a clear set of performance milestones, integrated automated tracking tools, and created a shared dashboard for progress visibility between my directs and me. This later grew to be successful on my team and allowed other employees and managers across my organization to stay aligned on ramp expectations without constant manual check-ins.
Highlights:
-
Reduced manager intervention time by 75%, freeing leadership to focus on coaching and strategic initiatives.
-
Provided clarity on performance expectations, enabling employees to reach productivity targets faster and more consistently.
-
Achieved full adoption of the framework within the first quarter, ensuring uniform re-onboarding across teams.

Performance Dashboards
Team Manager @Amazon
I spearheaded the creation of an org-wide Asana dashboard to streamline performance visibility during the early adoption phase of this new project management software for my previous org. The transition to Asana initially left our teams without a centralized way to track productivity and defect rates in real-time. Employees either relied on 1:1s with their Manager or end-of-week updates from their Project Managers, which were often delayed or inconsistent due to manual annotations, SME audits, and formula calculations. I designed a one-stop-shop dashboard that consolidated all key metrics for employees and their managers, providing real-time insight into productivity, defects, and project progress. I also led training sessions and documentation to ensure the dashboard was fully integrated into daily workflows and widely adopted across teams.
Highlights:
-
Achieved 100% adoption of the dashboard within the first month, standardizing performance tracking across my organization.
-
Reduced reliance on manual reporting, freeing managers to focus on coaching, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making.
-
Improved data accuracy and accountability, enabling employees and managers to identify trends and address issues proactively.
